“My Weakness is My Strength.” Say It. Because It’s Time to Turn This Thing Around.

It sounds cliché. But in this tumultuous time, when many of us are feeling disempowered and overwhelmed, the things we typically see as weaknesses may actually be or point to our hidden strengths.

After an unplanned month-long hiatus, I use myself as the example, diving right into discussing how the main four “weaknesses” that have kept me away can be rephrased and re-perceived.

Specifically, we address:

1) Overwhelm

2) Sensitivity to energy

3) Perfectionism

4) Insecurity; feeling weak, beat-down, and unsupported

Of course, this is not an exhaustive list. The biggest underlying strength is in our awareness, self-kindness, and the willingness to see the benefit in how we are operating and, then, switch into the advantage it can become.
